What Data We Collect
When you use AI for Old Men, we collect the following information:
- Email address — used to sign you in and send important account emails.
- Display name — so we can personalise your experience (optional).
- Your creations — the pictures, letters, chats, and other content you create using our tools.
- Usage data — how many pictures, chats, and other features you have used, so we can track your plan limits.
How We Use Your Data
We use your data to provide and improve the service. Specifically:
- To let you sign in and access your account.
- To save and display your creations so you can come back to them.
- To track your usage against your plan limits (for example, how many pictures you have created this month).
- To process payments if you upgrade to a paid plan.
- To send you important account-related emails (such as password resets or subscription confirmations).
Third-Party Services
We use the following trusted services to run AI for Old Men:
- Supabase — for user authentication and data storage.
- Stripe — for processing payments securely. We never see or store your card details.
- Google AI, Fal.ai, and Replicate — for generating images, enhancing photos, and powering our AI features.
- Resend — for sending emails.
- Fathom Analytics — for privacy-friendly website analytics. Fathom does not use cookies and does not track you personally.
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which provides encryption at rest and in transit. We follow industry best practices to protect your information. Only authorised personnel have access to the underlying systems.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data — you can view all your creations and account information within the app.
- Delete your data — you can delete your account and all associated data from the Settings page.
- Export your data — you can download your creations at any time.
Cookies
We only use essential cookies for keeping you signed in (authentication session cookies). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our analytics provider, Fathom, is completely cookieless.
